What the club said on October 25, just in case anyone still believes any official word coming out of the Ministry for PR Fuck Ups

"the 37-year-old Belgian will take temporary charge of the Addicks’ first-team while the club undertake the process to appoint a Head Coach on a permanent basis."

Now we hear (the not entirely surprising) news that:

#cafc would have given job to Fraeye longer term if he'd made success of it. So there was never a "search" before this.

Just wanted to make sure that was highlighted somewhere for everyone to see.

EDIT: And just to add to this, the official statement from the club today that A search for a new Head Coach has commenced.​

    Well I'm sure we're all very surprised by that news

    Certainly nothing that we maybe didn't already know through unofficial channels, but I think it is worth highlighting that we now have two OFFICIAL statements from the club that clearly contradict each other and show that the first statement was deliberately misleading.

    We have lots of rumours, or info from 'sources' but we don't have many cold hard facts that prove the club has lied to us. We have one more now though and this should help convince a few more people that this lot are up to no good.

    Not necessarily a lie, they have said he was interim while they undertook the process of appointing a permanent. They could argue that the process was giving him til January .

    Even then, their process is flawed as there wasn't a contingency , but the wording was very clever(?).
