If the bid for Clarke-Harris was serious, so we do go back to Rotherham with an offer they are more likely to accept then despite all my other criticisms of the ownership I would count this as a positive step, a signal that RD might just be willing to break his system by paying the going rate for a decent british prospect from a rival.
The club will have known Rotherham would never sell him to a relegation rival for that price, as any club would be insane to gift a talented player away on the cheap to a rival struggling club..................... ;-)
So Some old bloke called Fanni who has been playing in Qatar which I assume is similar in quality to an ageing CB playing somewhere like the Indian PL. How exciting.
Plus Sonogo, I very very very rarely ever remember individual performances from non-Charlton players but I remember his FA Cup final performance for Arsenal, I watched it in a pub and turned to my arsenal supporting mate to say "never thought I would say this about an Arsenal player but I would not want him at Charlton"...
Welcome both (bit premature but seems likely). Hope you are successful, keep us up and prove me wrong... Many have before I suppose.
