After hearing about john terry leaving chelski I was wondering how many one club men have played only for us.

    Richard Rufus,
    Chris Solly (so far.......)

Terry played 6 games on loan at Forest.
They almost sold him to Forest or Huddersfield didnt they?

If the criterion is league clubs only then the first David Campbell should be included.

He played 70 plus games for us and then played a bit of non-league for Barking I think it was.

    Ah, never knew that.
So, other than being a racist (allegedly), sleeping with a team mates missus (allegedly), insulting Americans on 9/11 (allegedly), he now says chelski are the only team he's played for.
A wrong 'un in my book.

Stevie Brown should have/ may as well have been a one club man

    What about your good self?

    Don't remember you going elsewhere.

I'd rather pretend I didn't, as I'm grotesquely ashamed about what happened afterwards and I have to live with it to my grave.

    Ah that explains 'grotesquely ashamed'

    :-)

    I'd clean forgotten.

I done some research on this a little time who, and if my memory serves me right there's one more.

Clue: scored for both sides in 1946 FA cup final becoming first player to do so

Jack Shreeve who appeared in the '47 only ever played for Charlton

Whilst Harold Hobbis played for Charlton between spells @ Bromley and Tonbridge Angels...
    The traitor !
Haold Hobbis played for Villa as well.

Don't think he played many times for them but he definitely went there.

Well Len you learn something new every day. That said Phil was in my opinion a terrific servant to the club, knew his brother John as well he was a decent player but was always getting sent off for fighting

I played cricket against Johnny Warman when he played for Downham and Bellingham.

Thats how I know him Len all my mates played at Downham and Bellingham and have played golf with him a couple of times as well. John is possibly the most competitive man I have ever met, and that is saying something, but I do like him he is a good bloke.

And he's ridden a Grand National and Derby winner, coxed Oxford to win the boat race, landed on the moon, first man to break four minutes for the mile and so on and so on!!!!!

What about Brian 'Tick Tock' Tocknell?

Saw him in my early days of support and think he was one of the South African lot like Hewie etc.

Tocknell came from Berea Park in South Africa and went to Arcadia Shepherds in South Africa. Interestingly, Arcadia Shepherds (red shirts at night, shepherds delight) is where John Hewie came from and went to. Also, Norman Nielson (played for Charlton 1949/50) came from the same club. Roy Matthews also went to Arcadia Shepherds from Charlton as did Graham Tutt.

Depends if you include his time in America though...?

Technically Keith isnt a one club man because he betrayed us for Columbus Magic

    You can't include America.
    Why not?
According to the highly reliable Wikipedia he played two indoor games for Columbus Magic. That definately doesn't count in my eyes
