I genuinely think that Katrin believes that she can move on the current fan base and bring in a new lot who will come for the match day experience with football being secondary.
This is what I think too
If she really believes that, then she really doesn't understand the cultures of football, London or the people who live there.
She wanted the club to target new supporters from South West London last year
and lets not forget her favourite saying "We don't do that in Belgium"

One of the biggest things I'm struggling with at the minute is that we used to be a league one team, and for a lot of that time not a particularly brilliant one until that final season (and it shouldn't be forgotten that was in a large part due to Chris Powell). But we still had supporters who were keen to come to games, understood what a "big match" was and made the day special. there was a feeling of "the football is naff, but this is Charlton, and being Charlton, we're trying. help us out and we'll help you out" between the fans and players.
Yet here we are, 4 years on in a higher division, playing what should be much bigger games, where the quality of football is better, the richest owner we have ever had, the lessons learnt from last time in league and an understanding of a way forward.
Instead we have worse football, no sense of trying from a team so weak we'd struggle in league 1 possibly worse than at any point last time, a real lack of attachment between 95% of the playing squad and the fans, and supporters who couldn't give a flying monkeys about coming along, and frankly, who blames them?
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss league 1, I miss a team who tried hard, and I miss feeling as though the club were mine.

I remember that laughable statement. If she thinks she can convince the youth of Barnes and Middlesex to forego Harlequins, Twickers and the Hunt Ball to trek east for lower league football, limited free pies and a house DJ, then good luck to her.
