Pard's Song

Lot said about ZZ etc but I think Song has been poor since the Watford game, especially against Blackburn (where he gave the ball away more times than any other midfielder this season) and Tottenham. The other teams had done their homework on him and knew his turns etc. I know he is young and the pressure probably got to him, but was that Pard's biggest mistake...... building his midfield around a young player on loan who is used to a slow build up and quality players around him?

That is a fair point. He did seem to escape critism when the usual suspects got it in the neck as soon as they reverted to type. The thing was that we got half a dozen more decent games out of him than we did from several who played the whole season.

He fits well into a team and we slowly stopped looking like one after Everton away, maybe even before.
