In a macabre sort of way there has actually been a few laughs recently..
One such moment was watching a group of lads chanting "We're fucking shit" to "Everywhere we go" all the way from Craven Cottage to Putney Rail Station on Saturday... just to witness some old chap watching on with a look of complete disdain which slowly turned to confusion when he realised how happy they were whilst chanting it.
Similarly, wandering around Tesco on Sunday humming "Heyyyy... Hey Roland! Ohh. Ahh. I wanna knooowwwww... why you're such a c#nt!" was also quite amusing.

Yes, this evening in sub-zero temperatures I enjoyed watching the Premier League stars of tomorrow unable to beat the first man with their corners.
That wasn't really the highlight, though. I really enjoyed loitering around the stadium afterwards to enjoy the atmosphere/ambiance with family and friends. Once the stewards kicked us out, we shared a 4-pack of White Ace with some friendly Northern bastards outside the ground.
The football was really a side-show - I understand how similar the Belgian culture is now.7 -
