I think it's an excellent idea. People will take the free teamsheet and then inevitably end up reading about the protest. Makes perfect sense for a FfaF day.

"Charlton can whistle up their first home win since November 7th against Reading in front of a larger than usual crowd today, the Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet is itself tuning up for another big afternoon of protest at The Valley.
CARD landed another blow yesterday with the announcement of its call for a season-ticket boycott. Today we hope we aim to show we are in harmony with the money-saving message of the day by distributing our own FREE matchday programme, including squad listings for both teams.
We’re also aiming to use it as an instrument to tell as many of today’s Football for a Fiver visitors as possible – and any other unconvinced fans – why we’re protesting and why the club’s absentee owner has to go, so any help you can give us will be gratefully received. There are plenty to go around.
Today also sees the return of the CARD billboard on Anchor & Hope Lane, but in case you can’t get down there to see it we’ve produced a smaller version to display outside the ground, where we invite you to join us as we film fans recording their own personal messages for absentee owner Duchatelet.
FREE matchday programme 5pm west-stand car park protest Giant billboard – back by popular demand Small billboard – record YOUR message for Roland Duchatelet Anti-Roland merchandise on sale: all profits to the protest fund
Like many Middlesbrough and Charlton fans, we have made some late rearrangements to our plans in the light of the next Saturday home match against Boro being chosen for live TV coverage on Sunday, March 13th (3.30pm).
However, you can now pick up CARD T-shirts (£10), sweatshirts and hoodies (£20) from the merchandise stand in Ransom Walk, with ALL profits to the protest fund. If they sell well today we expect to produce more for the Boro match.
CARD is not organising a walk-out this afternoon, but we appreciate that if the game goes badly then many may take that as a signal to leave early.
Either way, at 5pm – or whenever the match finishes – we’re keen to see as many people as possible in the west stand car park to show the wider world that Roland has to go. With a larger than usual crowd, it’s more important than ever that we turn out in numbers to show the media we will not allow our club to be destroyed by one man’s mad experiment.
We have the feeling there might be an unexpected postscript today, but either way we hope you’ll have a blast."

If a boycotter falls over at home and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Are you against the season ticket boycott then?! Seems CARD are above criticism. Crowd won't be as high as earlier FFAF crowds, that will give quite a loud message.
Also, how can it be unexpected if they're expecting it.
I suspect that CARD know that something is about to happen but seeing as they haven't endorsed it (and it might be considered slightly more provocative than usual) they are keeping quiet.

We have the feeling there might be an unexpected postscript today...
Would be good if some merchandise could be sold at the Harvey Garden entrance. It's the one I use
Tuning?
Harmony?
Instrument?
Read between the lines?
Something music based?
CARD have spunked the protest fund on hiring a One Direction tribute band called No Direction, based on Roland's strategy for the club???
Confirmed.
