    Seriously,
Are CARD really going to do or organise something or will it be a token effort ?

    Can't believe I'm saying this, but, I agree with @NLA and @northstandsteve .

Time for the Trust to be honest about their intentions, time for VOTV people to up the anti, time for the Fan's Forum to do something, and, (sorry guy's) even people on here.

We really are going to get 1 chance at this........

Live, on Sky, going all round the world.

    1 chance.

    Absolutely this!

I can't applaud the efforts of CARD enough but something, even if it was small should have been organised tonight to keep up the momentum and next game, we've heard dozens of suggestions, needs to be an astronomical effort, we don't get on sky much so this will almost definitely be our only chance this season to be seen and heard on national tv.

Don't think night games are receptive to protests as people are either struggling to make kick off or struggling to get home. I'm sure things are planned for Sunday

The club still had the barriers outside the West Stand Reception this evening. More wasted money spent by the club. Baldrick would be a better CEO

    Agreed,
But, sorry, in my opinion this is our opportunity.
  • If card don't organise anything which will raise eyebrows on Sunday then I suggest they give everyone who donated their money back.

You are invited to a relegation party this Sunday. If you can, get your ticket in the covered end as this will be where the party wil be at its best, Please come in fancy dress - preferably as clowns to represent Roland and the rest of them. Don't forget a festive mask. As this is a party there is no need to sit in your own seat. Obviously the club will not be able to tell if you were at the party, but it is only for fun. Please use walk ways/stairs for dancing as in rows of seats this could be a health and safety issue. If stewards ask you to move it means you are not dancing very well and you should move about more. It may also be their shy way of asking you to dance. The party finishes after 40 mins or in the unlikely event that the game is abandoned. We would ask you leave quietly and on no account congrigate outside the ground.

Don't forget paper for the planes for the kids to play with, balloons for a party treat, tennis balls for juggling, beach balls for a friendly game of keep up, please do not bring hard balls as this may hurt someone, toilet rolls in case of spills, streamers to celebrate any goals, banners to explain the reason for the party, whistles and other musical instruments to add our support to the team .

Please have fun and don't break the law.

    Hi @DiscoCAFC

In answer to that question, none.

Last night was identified by many people as being absolutely pivotal to our chances of survival this season, particularly after the Brentford victory.

Everyone desperately wanted Charlton to win last night and no one wanted 'protests' to be leveraged against a poor performance as an excuse. So last night was all about keeping the concentration simply on the football with no distractions, no excuses.

As a result, an incredibly poor performance followed, and even those who are against protests cannot use the fact that it proved a destabilising effect last night, particularly following a morale boosting victory on Saturday.

That was the main reason. Secondary to that, are you one of the volunteers @DiscoCAFC that kindly put themselves every game to assist ? If so, you'll know it's a commitment for people to give up additional time around match days, and evening games after work makes that logistically a lot more difficult.

I suspect Sunday will be very different....
