Anything goes now on Sunday as far as I'm concerned. All boycotters please turn up and do whatever
We were clueless apart from Harriott who was a constant danger.
Our two other main threats did not start. Sanogo who was so unfit to play that he was dancing around doing a jig at the end of Saturday's game & Lookman who was so unfit he's been stuck on the bench for a while.
It was a MUST win game and we didn't play either of our biggest threats.
Compounding this, when it was obvious after 5 mins, that we posed no threat, Riga did nothing about it.
When we were almost resigned to not winning, Riga brings on Sanogo and takes off our best player by a country mile Callum Harriott.
Finally, when he could be reasonably confident Lookman, shouldn't have time to get injured (so that we can sell him in 2 months), he brings him on with 5 minutes remaining.
Lookman proceeded to do more in those 5 minutes than the rest (apart from Harriott) had done for 85 minutes.
I can't help but think that Charlton really do want to get relegated.
Angry, is an understatement.
I honestly believe that ALL Charlton supporters MUST turn up on Sunday and demonstrate/object/whatever in the strongest possible manner.
Pitch invasions, brussel sprouts, whistles, invade the directors box, whatever.
Anything & everything goes as far as I'm concerned.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Agree altbough a bit harsh to single out Harriott for giving his all. I thought Cousins and Fox both gave everything but that's because they care. The majority of the others probably can't wait for the summer so they can all bugger off elsewhere. The club is toxic!8

Basically, Charlton boys from academy are giving everything to help the club.16
-
I was convinced there was a bit of match fixing going on tonight, it was like we were trying our best to make sure we didn't win this match.8

Knock yourself out on Saturday mate.
I'm going Sunday.

I think the ante needs to be upped. However I am not going to do it myself ad I live too far away to justify the trip to watch, what sounds like a load of toilet. I think mid game peaceful pitch invasion but unless co-ordinated and supported will lead to arrests/bans.1

I agree that Fox & Cousins also tried.0

After being cheered off on Saturday,
Riga was so inept with every decision tonight,
Lookman ,Sonogo and Harriott to start was so obvious, i can only
assume that he was under orders not to play Lookman.
The management of this club is killing me from the inside.
I'm stuck in a Duchatelet Microwave.9 -
Am I the only one who thought Harriott did fuck all but spin round on the spot like a dog chasing his tail when he finally controlled the ball before losing it??5

Yep.5

You are not the only one.
Didn't think he did much at all to be honest but even with that he was better than the useless Makienok.

I've known Steve (Covered End) for over 30 years and he is Charlton through and through. He's missed something silly like 2 home games in 40 odd years and goes to loads of aways. He sat in the front row on that famous night in Woolwich Town Hall and his celebration when the decision was announced is legendary. We are not close friends, he was my supervisor at work and to be honest a pain in the arse to a young disillusioned bank clerk, but I respect his love of Charlton. I have never seen a post from him so angry and exasperated.
I feel for you Steve, and I agree with you; the gloves are off and nothing should be discounted now from the fans on Sunday.
That is my opinion Ben by the way, I'm not going to get involved myself but I think the real fans should start some real, effective direct action.
Come on fans, don't spend next season regretting that you didn't do enough this season.19 -

Think we really got to come up with somethink big this week but has to be enough of us so we dont get nicked1

We have a passive support and nothing extreme will happen in in the form of protests.
Why don't we all button it and simply not renew season tickets, hurt the Belgians that way.
Pitch invasions etc will lead to banning orders and the Belgians will have the last laugh when you cannot watch Charlton whilst Duchatelet had sold up long ago.5 -
People have been banging on about pitch invasions, walk outs etc for weeks and weeks now. It's not going to happen, our fanbase doesn't have the courage for that sort of stuff.2

A pitch invasion will not be fully supported and will lead to arrests and banning orders. That said something major needs to be done that will receive the support from the majority. Where are all those banners that were made ? They for one need to be in the view of the televisions. Come on CARD we need something special from you !!3

Too many people saying what should be done but they're not going to be there themselves.
Too many people doing f all to help on a match day
Too many people wearing the black and white who can't be arsed to come and do their bit at the 5pm protests
Time for everyone to stand up and be counted, not standing to one side and paying lip service to it.
CARD are doing their bit, and so are some others, like the Belgian 20 - but it needs everyone to get behind the protests.34 -
I agree with myself on the other thread and I quote "LETS GO FUCKING MENTAL!!"0
-
BUY A WHISTLE AND BLOW IT!
Simples!
We have to do something to get this game disrupted! if we don't then those who are moaning can take over the protests next season when we aren't there!
Stop waiting for someone to get your club back for you - time to put up or shut up!

Well, at least the fans aren't turning on themselves - oh, wait.....Davo55 said:

Time to step up people!
If you are boycotting matches, PLEASE turn up on Sunday. we need as many people as possible to take a stand and get our club back!
There WILL be protests being announced and there WILL be other protests happening with the aim to disrupt the match!
If you want to do something to get your club back this match is the time to do it!

No not the only one. Harriott was trying too hard and was running before he had the ball under control. It was exactly the sort of performance that some people were booing back in Sept/Oct.ShortyWilson999 said:Am I the only one who thought Harriott did fuck all but spin round on the spot like a dog chasing his tail when he finally controlled the ball before losing it??

Well said. I have missed most of the last few home games having only missed a handful in the previous 30 years, but will be going to this one and am ready to do my bit.C4FC4L1f3 said:Time to step up people!

I suggest everyone looks within themselves and makes a conscious decision to up their own personal ante, in whatever guise that may take.
