Stripping out the bedroom of furniture and carpet and screwing down every other floorboard to stop the feckers squeaking. Stripping and screwing has never been less fun.
Showed this to a lady friend of mine (up till now), she indicated that it would be a marked improvement...
Only fair I suppose, when I'd told her I was good in bed, I meant that I slept like a log.
Cracking on with giving the grass its first cut of the year and preparing my new vegetable garden.Very concerned this is one of the most exciting things in my life at the moment!
I purchased new garden canes in Wilkinson’s during the week.
On the two subsequent occasions that I visited my shed this week I found myself gazing at those canes - they must be twice the thickness of ordinary garden canes - I’m one lucky fekker!
Spent the morning, getting the house ready for three prospective buyers, then took the dogs out, while the better half deals with the viewings. Watch the Chelsea game, get a bit depressed by the calibre of viewers, two of which had no idea of the area...... the other buyer who had lived in the next road albeit a few years ago, was asking my wife would they get planning permission for an extension? Time for a few drinks, and a film I think........
7 mile dog walk, this morning, a couple of hours in the garden, doing a few bits and visited my cousin's new grandson in Otford. Just back, all in all, rather a nice day.
