If your thinking of renewing your season ticket OR buying the new shirts here is a film showing you why you shouldn't! The Problems at Charlton Athletic: Episode IV Meet The Regime
Thanks, for the reminders! I really hope that Russell Slade gets to watch this ... and then weeps and what he has taken on! I also hope he has a plan B for his career, as the next move could be sooner than he envisaged. My blood is boiling already, before we hit 31 degrees today.
Didn't take long the jury has determined they are equally bat shit crazy but in different ways.
Here is the summary from the spokesperson of the jury.
'We considered all the evidence presented to us, thanks to Katrien for her invaluable comments.
Before hearing the evidence we had a chat and to be honest we thought Vincent was the major nutter. Changing the strip colour and that, wow.
But having heard what Katrien had to say we were immediately convinced that Roland Duchatelet is a greater force for destruction.
To take a club that was 8th in the championship, to push players on the then manager and sack him, to sell the best players again and again, we could not believe it.
The CEO Katrien was clearly out of her depth.
The continued exit of valued club staff and the comments of players to us behind closed doors sealed it for the jury.
If we had the power to arrest M. Duchatelet we would. '
I'm in my bed, laptop on, well, lap, in the company of Jim, @Airman Brown , @Davo55 & unfortunately one unwanted bedfellow , Katrien Meire (spit) watching this fantastic piece for the first time & I'm lost for words .....
This video is a must watch for ANYONE out there that questions why such a brilliant organisation as CARD was formed & why the "war" as our CEO has stated must go on. And boy, do we have some very special Addicks on board !
I was privileged to be in THE taxi when @Davo55 was live on TalkSport but only now do I fully realise what an unbelievable interview he gave that afternoon as we sped on our way towards Calais. He had no notes, no pre warning of the questions that were posed, yet without hesitation he responded superbly to what was put to him , covering everything that needed to be said with great professionalism. We know that @Airman Brown is well practised in dealing with the media which he does so well, but the leader of our expedition into "enemy territory" should be extremely proud of his performance. We salute you, dear friend.
@CWadlan has provided us with a visual blog of the season thus far which not only reminds us of the battles fought for the future of our club, but serves as a clear message that nothing has changed despite our CEO's protestations to the contrary. It also serves to reinforce that we are merely a speck in The Belgian's empire ....albeit one that is clearly an irritant. We must ensure that this "itch" will not respond to scratching.
So, before that nightime layer of polyfilla is applied and the hairnet & bedsocks are donned, my final thought for today is that I am one lucky Fanny to be involved with so many dedicated & committed Addicks in this latest Battle for The Valley....one which we know will also be won , come the day.

We will get them out one day and what a celebration that will bring.
