Boro's issues were naturally overshadowed on Sunday, but it seems Karanka and Boro have kissed and made up again. A strange saga which definitely was reflected in their rather limp performance on the pitch!

Their miserable performance against us probably strengthened Karanka's position and made his comments last week seem spot on. They certainly didn't play like a side motivated to get over the line and reach the premier league. In the space of a few weeks they've lost at Bristol city, Rotherham and now us without even scoring.

At least they're fair when it comes to losing against teams fighting relegation.

Boro are the new Leeds when it comes to TV, they play Hull on Friday...
