    Will Katrien be there?

My understanding is there are no plans for that to happen this year. With everything that has gone on, I think everyone would agree that is probably the most common sense approach for all parties to ensure that the focus remains solely on the Upbeats.

Yeehaw."............ I'm all over this then. ...........*whistles a happy tune* :)

edited.... Last year I had to do the return walk with Bailey to SL, while I was blowing out of my **** Bailey wanted to have a play after about 15 miles which wasn't good news. So if anyone would consider picking me and a smallish/quite big/feckin huge but extremely loveable German Shepherd up from Charlton where I could leave my car, it would be appreciated. ;)
  • I would have been up for it but am doing a hundred mile walk across the South Downs.

I'll sign up later tonite. Fairly certain Bailey and his minder are in too .

I am now I've seen the news, now if I can get @PL54 to give me and Bailey a lift it will round off a great day. ;)
  • We're in, registered Bailey under his Kennel Club name so hopefully he won't get recognised. Got bloody complicated filling in his health issues. ;)
  • Bailey got medical clearance, were in....... Lol

Consider it done. A better cause I'll struggle to find. Love the upbeats.

Actually we had a rescue Persian cat... Gizmo.. Can't remember her "show name" but it sounded like dame Barbara Cartland running through a list of her last ten fantasies

Seeing AFKA''s announcement was the pick me up I needed, dragging the Upbeats into our argument with the club wouldn't be and isn't right. The day is about the Upbeats and not us or the club and hopefully no one will wear RD out shirts or b/w scarves for two hours or so let's show what we as fans are about. Let's get behind the Upbeats and support them as we can, because that's what we do best. Because if you your history it's enough..................

    Well said TCE
  • Got something I need to try to rearrange but up for this if I can do it.
  • @AFKABartram Do I have to sign up somewhere or just turn up?

    You coming?
Will try my best. I normally do a run with a bunch of women on a Saturday morning (yes, it's a hard life) but I'm sure I can skip it for such a good cause.

You'll be utterly knackered if you skip for nine miles...

No need to apologise, a good cause but you can't risk your health.

Armed with a gung-ho attitude and a nice hat, I set off this morning for a brisk practice stroll. Afterall it's only walking, how hard CAN it be, and rain, well it's only a bit of water.
An hour and half later I returned home, a drowned rat and completely knackered.:-)
    Gonna need a bigger hat.....

Jon....Thinking of trying to get "Fit Enough" to attempt the RTTB next year (run/walk/crawl), for no other reason than I'll be sixty (going on 28) at christmas and I need a challenge and I always sponsor myself for a couple hundred quid for the Upbeats fund so its all for a good cause. Shall I put you the maybe list? Yeah, I know what we said, but its the Upbeats you can't say no can you? ;) Just have a think!! Lol ;)

Need to meet up with someone soon to give Dazzler21s nifty, and a separate donation to the Upbeats. (I don't really trust myself with online banking ).

It's as easy as buying a season ticket online.

You can't buy a season ticket, but you can book an appointment with an ENT specialist
  • The other half is doing this but feels awkward asking some people for sponsorship because she thinks they'll be reluctant to donate via just giving.
Can anyone knock up an old fashioned sponsorship form she could use, then we'll go on holiday she will donate it herself on the just giving site.
