The only reason Benn is 'cleared' is because he failed a VADA test and not a UKAD one. If that makes him not a drug cheat, then your head is in the sand.

He was cleared to fight but i don't think he was technically cleared of having PEDs in his system, and he never offered any suitable excuse as to how/why he failed the tests.Covered_End_Lad said:

As above, i agree with most people that both of them are pricks, although i do think Eubank gained a lot of respect for his classy post-fight comments. Everyone could see he was weight drained and basically a walking corpse but he congratulated Benn and said to take nothing away from his performance.2 -

Agree with the premise... Eubank was awful and looked dead on his feet from round 1, but think it's very harsh to say Benn looked poor. You can only beat what's infront of you and he arguably won every round. Should he have got a lame duck out of there earlier? Yeah probably, but you've got to remember that he was stepping up two weight classes. He boxed sensibly and got the job done.
He's got a chance against Barrios/Crocker... the rest of the big guns at 147 would flatten him1 -

I do agree, you can only beat your opponent and by his own standards he boxed ok behind a jab but make no bones Eubank looked fried at the weigh-in and it was clear from the first exchange he was in there to survive the 12. Credit for that I suppose, the paying British public keep keenly eating these shit sandwiches Hearn serves up and all the while that happens he will keep the shit pipeline going
I'm picturing Connor v Romero and laughing, it would be like a big cat playing with a 3 legged mouse, Conor Benn has the enthusiasm and I get why people like him, I loved his dad, but from a pure boxing perspective he is average at best4 -

Wasn’t high quality but I enjoyed the Clarke / Jeamie TVS or whatever his name is scrap on Saturday, and good to see boxing back on BBC1

Boxing obviously has a doping problem, but to say 'every boxer is on PEDs' just isn't true. Especially as some are enrolled in year round random testing. Of course some might be a step ahead of the testers but i'd find it hard to believe every fighter was on something.Leroy Ambrose said:
