Thought Povetkin won the first 2 rounds at a canter. For me, after that AJ just edged each round and i mean just edged. Good fight though

Likewise. First round was cagey and he definitely won the second. But overall I had Joshua 4-2 going into the 7th.
  • Rumors of Eubank Jnr signing for matchroom and a fight against De Gale in December. Possibly at the O2 on the Whyte V Chisora card.
  • Shocked at the frampton vs Warrington ticket prices

My full VIP at Elland road was £250 per ticket at MEN it’s £600

    STANDS
    £50 -second tier (highest)
£80 - second tier center and lower tier far
    £100 -lower tier center
£150- first 5 rows lower tier
£200-first 5 rows lower tier center

    FLOOR
    £150
    £200
    £300
    £400
    £600 VIP Hospitality (very limited)

The weekend before Xmas all seems a bit steep

That will not be a fight of the ages! Eubank junior has time on his side if he loses however De Gale needs to win that and win it well

I think if nice guy Eddie has his eyes on Whyte V Chisora being PPV he’ll have to get fights like this on the card, people are starting to get the arse with shit line ups like last night.

100% right the fact they haven’t interviewed Mr Tickle yet after the horror show against Askin let’s you know that he knows there’s fall out

So far he had gone to his normal sources

    Bellew
    Paul Smith
    Jonny Nelson
    Froch

To put statements out like learning fights blah blah blah

And the Mr Tickle himself had come out with the god it was bad I watched it back

The next PPV fight wi have better undercard fights than the top bill imo

Hearn announced Lowe v Walsh on the Usyk undercard.
Change of heart from young Isaac or hasn’t he told Hearn his plan?
  • I do fear if Hearn is not careful they bubble will bust for PPV, people are starting to get pissed off with it now and if Whyte v Del Boy is PPV before Xmas with all the other fights before PPV i can see very very low numbers.

Eubank Jnr has a big task getting the public back on side i think after his display against Groves.

Mate, I was at the fight and afterwards there was people moaning about it being a fix and a robbery! At the hotel I pulled a couple of people up on it and asked them what on earth they saw that I and the judges didn't

Generally it was people who were fans of his father and one dickhead was even close to tears that the British public wouldn't get to see a fight between Connor Benn and Eubank junior, I distinctly remember struggling to keep my beer down then, this chump didn't even know they were 4 weight divisions apart and miles apart in their respective careers.

Eubank looks the business against fighters that don't move so in theory he should not deal well with DeGale, although he has been pretty easy to be hit in his last few fights and would get badly hurt if he were to fight Groves again.

no change of Heart this is the mistake he is making and its a whopper

That's a shame, I like the look of him and as you are involved in his camp sponsoring him I had taken an interest. What are Ben Davidson's credentials beyond being Tysons mate? Would he be training with him if he hadn't fallen out with his cousin?

So he's fighting on Usyk card rather than Dec 1st now?

Other way around. Pulling out the Walsh fight on the Hearn show.

Apart from the worst BJS fight I ever did see I have no answer

To me the big man likes him around and has him mentally sound and getting there physically

Ricky Hatton very much a big part of the team

  • What's everyone thinking about tomorrow eve? If Groves' shoulder is 100%, I can't see anything other than a comfortable victory for the Saint.

Callum Smith is a decent boxer, his height might give Groves another something to think about but I think Groves will deal with him, he's pretty well suited to Groves. Callum Smith and George Groves are both very big super middleweights and Smith should probably be fighting at light-heavy and I reckon he'll move up after the fight
  • I’m going Groves too, providing his shoulder is ok, always tough to judge on the first fight back from a serious injury.

The couple of interviews I’ve seen/heard with him though, he sounds a bit bunged up, wondering if he has a cold.

Hoping for a decent fight, think Groves might stop him inside 6

He's been kickboxing since he was a small boy, and boxing competitively all his adult life, his nose will have been fucked for years. He's sounded like that for a long time
  • Fancy Groves to stop him late
  • I am hearing the shoulder ain’t good and from listening to St George talking about a stoppage reasonably early I think that just ads credence to the rumours

I am a huge George Fan and want him to win

But Cal I feel will come through an early onslaught and then it’s down to the shoulder

Cal by stoppage or withdrawal for me

Yeah, I’ve listened to his interviews for years, there’s just something different about his voice. Lots of flemmy sniffs too

Even if he’s been in bed all week with flu he ain’t gonna say so anyway. Was just an observation

He looks slightly loose and not as toned as I thought he would do by now could well be signs of being off colour
