  • Joke fight really.

Fair play to Fielding for getting an amazing pay day, a lot of people won't even have heard of him and i'm not sure he's even fought outside the UK before.

But seriously, this is a complete mismatch. Callum Smith KO'd Fielding in the first round.

Fair play Eddie Hearn... Don't know how he's made that fight. Cash out for Rocky and he's made for life

He won the title in Germany!

Good on him for taking the fight, Alvarez going up a weight too

Purely by chance if you read his comments. Canelo's promoter text him out of the blue and Hearn couldn't believe it.

Don’t think it’s always right to think when a fighter matches against someone who is a step up in name it will be a big payday.

    Big exposure reach though

I reckon he makes at least 4x what he's made in any fight he has had before... This will be PPV and Canelo sells

    Even if he's got a 20% split
  • Sorry but this fight is why I hate boxing at times

Rocky is always going to take the fight he had too but Eddie didn’t , there’s zero risk for Hearn and it sickens me that he will gamble on his fighters health and well being for nothing more than self gratification

Rocky Fielding is a lovely man with a great family and been in the game a while fighting back from adversity and a terrible 1 rd ko by cal smith

#prayforRocky is something we shouldn’t joke about but he is going to lose and lose very badly by a serious ko and I hope he has no long lasting effects on his health and well being

Look at brook GGG total mis match and damage that changed his whole career parth

    The same will happen here

All the bollocks on social media against people warning the same is nothing more than bravado

This fight should never have been made

Agree with the Hearn comments but MTK Global have to take some responsibility too.
They’re his management team and Hearn can only put the offer to them.
Ultimately it’s a Rocky and MTK decision.

More ridiculous to expect the champion to turn down the biggest fight of his career because he might get hurt. Good luck to Rocky

Let's be fair, Rocky ain't a world champion is he. That WBA regular isn't worth a wank.

No one is expecting Rocky to turn it down he is a fighter it’s down to his team to protect him from himself

Rocky has just won his belt he should be fighting a nothing fight in the echo as his first defence

Rd 1 will be an easy rd sounding each other out

Rd 2 distance found by Canello

Rd 3 Rocky gets a good hiding

Rd 4 all over either KO or stoppage by Jamie Moore

    Both seem scared to commit.
Surprised Catteral hasn’t gone to the body more, seen from the Taylor fight that OD don’t like it

Ohara just seems like he’d rather be anywhere else.
Taylor loss really impacted him I think.

Sharp v Woodstock starting gone midnight, always seems to happen on a Warren card.
