The Patriots have traded 1st and 3rd round picks (32 & 103) to New Orleans in exchange for Brandin Cooks and a 4th round pick (118) which the Patriots must forfeit as part of "deflategate". It means they regain the other fourth rounder (pick 131) which was initially forfeited.
Looks like Marin Lewis is determined to have a colander protecting Dalton next season, think we will struggle to beat the Browns. I see a 3-13 looming.
Stephen Ross said he owed it to the fans in Oakland to make sure that every avenue had been exhausted to keep the team in the community that has supported them for so long. I can't say I disagree with him, and it's not often I say that.
Not really. Looks like the same story spun different ways. Washington has an offer out there (report 1), but it's not an offer Cousins like. That's just Breer repeating the background to a conversation he had.
The second confirm there's no new offer. Just the one Cousins won't sign.
It's classic sports management spin in the US. Offer a guy something that is below market value, but that looks like a good deal to the average person (he turned down $20m a year!). When the player gets a good market level offer and walks away, they can then say to their fans "well, we tried", when in reality, they really haven't.
To me they always were and always will be The Oakland Raiders!
Can't disagree with that, didn't want them to leave but Vegas is the choice. Davis didn't have the money to build a stadium and Oakland didn't want to help.
I am looking forward to seeing a game there. The Raider nation is one of the best traveling fan groups, so they will still have a True home advantage in Vegas.
Big Ben playing on for another year, as previously stated think he his a brilliant player a real tough winner, just gutted that it means we are 0-2 before the draft!!
More than welcome to start it yourself. Don't wanna come across as the guy that'll get uppity if I don't get the first post! Having said that, I will most like make a new post on draft day to post the picks if no-one else has by then.

Don't believe anything other reason.
