    Although we would all like to know the truth, I don't think we will hear it from a currently player. It would have to be from someone that has retired. Why would Solly damage his chances with a new employer for bad-mouthing an old one?

    Same reason Powell hasn't come out scathing them, he doesn't want to end up in the unemployable position Curbs got himself into with the West Ham situation.

    We could do with someone retiring from football so they can release the truth without harming their futures.
    Different "rules" apply to managers and players though, especially if the manager has a compensation package for dismissal which requires silence

    For players, spilling the beans on fellow players would be seen as far more of a sin
