Why would we need him if we've got Lookman already?
Is there a quota for young, black strikers?
One is 5'8" speedy and tricky One is 6'2" and a goal machine
Perhaps they could work together? Perhaps they know each other?
Terrific potential. Nil experience in an intimidating league.
Each one would need a wily old head next to them.
Anyway, not going to happen, is it?
Varney and Maynard didn't seem to do to bad as an inexperienced strike partnership in league 1, if you're good enough then you're good enough whoever is next you you. Like you said though it won't be happening certainly not the two together.
Said on the transfer thread this kid was quality. Scoring for fun for Bristol City. He looked the business in the U20's euros in the summer.
Chelsea have got so many good young players, their youth team have won everything the last few seasons. Conte should be looking to give a some a chance.
Just what we need, a young striker with no first team experience.
Where he comes from means little, Eccleston didn't destroy League One, former Barcelona player Ceballos can't even make the bench.
Lookman didn't do too badly or us at 18
Defoe was massively successful on loan at Bournemouth, at the same age. 18 goals in 29 appearances
It's about getting the right players...
Agree but the right striker is rarely an 18 year going on loan for the first team.
Except in this case
Chelsea are relatively weak up front, when you look at their resources elsewhere. No doubt they will solve this by buying 2 world class strikers for £100m next summer, but you can see this kid being a useful impact sub for them next year.
