The only part of the football club that has been successful in the past two years is the Under 21s and 18s. Both have reached or won finals and both have not been touched by the Belgium system, instead their coaches and players have been recruited and managed by the good old fashioned way that has been our academy system for many years.

Think there is a lesson there for someone ?

    Now now, don't forget the good work of the Community Trust.

    Another thing that's good about the wider Charlton "family", has nothing to do with the current owners but yet is something they will happily (and greedily) try to take credit for.
