The more and more youngsters signing pro deals or "long term deals" suggests the limited transfer activity we will see this summer IMO... Recon it will be heavily reliant on the youngsters
I think half the team will be.
Another season of Duchatelet underestimating the strength of the league as the hard-faced, veteran professionals of League One proceed to kick the sh!t out of our teenage team!
I think I am right that Lapslie is a Charlton fan? Really hope he makes the grade with us and stays for us to watch him develop. Thought his assist was a great pass.
Been impressed with George this season. He;s come on leaps and bounds from looking a boy amongst men when he made his debut.
He probably needs to learn a little bit of positional discipline, but his enthusiasm and work rate are excellent and he's got a bit about him that says he's not just a work horse.
I;d rather see him start at the base of the diamond tomorrow than move Bielek forwards and disrupt the defence which has looked water tight in recent weeks.
Good player, but like some already blooded not yet ready for first team action.
Well behind Regan Charles Cook in the midfield pecking order at this stage imo.
What a difference 2 years makes
RCC deemed not good enough and has played 10 games for gills this season
Lapslie played 11 games for us this season
Don't think that's the case. RCC was offered a new one year extension I believe and turned it down in search of more playing time. It's a shame because later in the summer we looked light in midfield and I think RCC could have nailed down a somewhat regular spot either side of the diamond. I have his technical ability and athleticism far ahead of Lapslie's.
According to that article Karlan Grant will be in the shop on Saturday.
He's out for a while isn't he?
Good spot... Bowyer thinks though that'll be back around the Barnsley game yet is cautious of throwing him back into the line up as he doesnt want to cause issues for the hamstring again

He's been on the phone to Danny Haynes for some best advice .

And he’s one of us.
