Bloke on the TV just now said that it's basically going to rain until Christmas but will be dry that week...he did say it will stop raining for a couple of weeks in July but that it won't be hot...
Like it did a few years ago (2012?). The water authorities kept warning of a drought and then it pissed down all summer long, but they still maintained we were at risk of a drought.
I remember someone at the time on a radio phone in said "This is the wettest drought since records began".
The aforementioned palace wol is finding that his seaweed is coming in really handy this year.
Still, when you're palace I would think you're just happy to touch something "wet" that isn't your own bedsheets.
Strangely, he's married a succession of women. Even more strangely, they (so far) have all been called Gill. I suppose it cuts down on the prospects of confusion at inopportune moments.....
