I too am older enough to remember watching his fights on black and white telly with the whole family, you would not get that now. We started resenting him and ended loving him. The way he stood by his principles was so admirable, he took the unfair punishment and that made his protest the more powerful. Now people think that can do what they like in so called protests but then run-off to Russia or some embassy and then make vast sums out of it. Ali as in boxing stood his ground a great man who made us all think again.
