I thought 'you wanna be in my gang' was a Gary glitter song. Filthy sod.
Sorry. None of those songs was by Slade. A not very good attempt at a joke. I forget that the majority of posters on this forum were probably conceived to "Blue Monday" by New Order.
Grew up with this and Bowie, bloody marvellous. Got rid of the albums, never replaced slade so must get a greatest hits at least. Even had a Dave Hill haircut then saw the error of my ways and went for a feathercut instead.

The Dave Hill haircut always looked it had been originally fashioned by his mum! But the fact that we can still recall it must mean it was "iconic" or "really bad" or most likely, both
How Does It Feel Do You Believe in Miracles Then any 3 from the long list of hits '71 -'73 & '81 - '85
Really before my time but a brilliant brilliant band. Holder/Lea's songwriting stands shoulder to shoulder with Lennon/McCartney and Difford/Tilbrook. Noel Gallagher owes a big slice of his Oasis royalties to them too.

The older you get the more deep and meaningful the lyrics seem to become. Never thought I would be saying that about Slade songs!
