I am considering trying a beer or two from each of the 24 nations of Euro 2016 during this summer's tournament, possibly during each team's match.
I might rate them against their opponents etc too, if I fancy 102 beers in a month and can find at least 3 for Albania!!
So, any recommendations from each country of nice beers that are reasonably easy to get hold of?
If so, please cut and paste the list from the last post above yours to add to it as we go along, underneath your post detailing a bit about the beer(s) you're recommending.
Cheers.

bit of a google came up with korca as there most popular.
Czech Republic - Pilsner Urquell/Budva
Croatia: Karlovacko, Ozujsko
Sweden: Rekorderlig, Kopperburg
Belgium: Duvel, Frülli, Leffe
Czech: Staropramen
Wales: I think there's some nice Welsh ciders that may be worth a go.
Northern Ireland: not a clue, other than Bushmills Whiskey
Sounds like a brilliant game!

realising how much of a pisshead i sound listing all these.
Alhambra Reserva 1925 is very nice. Comes in a green bottle, think they sell it in Lewisham (and presumably other) Tescos. 6.4% but doesn't taste that strong, stop at 2 though.
If you happen to go past Shepherds Off Licence opposite Blackheath Station, or Lee Off Licence, they both have a decent selection of random foreign beers.

I'd like to offer an alternative for Austria. This is one of my all time favourite beers: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/285/776/
If you want to try something that's more than a little different, this German beer is a step up from your lagers and your Pilsners: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/263/727/
I know it's largely a matter of personal taste, but I'd steer clear of Berliner Kindle Weiss, it is literally (not figuratively) the worst beer I have ever tried. Imagine Hoegaarden drained of all it's alcohol content, with a slight aftertaste of disinfectant added into the mix and you'll be thinking of something similar to, but not as bad as, BKW.
England: Beavertown 'Neck Oil' or 'Gamma Ray'
Italy only has Peroni doesn't it?
Spain: Babel - craft brewery in Estepona and bloomin excellent...makes a change from all that Estrella/San Miguel nonsense....(order online)
Sweden: Stockholm Brewery has some nice beers and had a great IPA, also set up by a bloke from SE7 (order online)
Achel Blonde ( a Trappist), Brugse Zot Blonde, De Struise Black Albert, Duvel Tripel Hop, Rochefort 10 (again Trappist), St-Bernardus 12 (put this one on your bucket list ! ), and Tripel Karmeliet.
Enjoy ...
Apparently the best of the places to try it in London is Duck&Rice in Soho. May get there myself this week.
Only other Czech beers to mention that have not been so far would be Svijany and Bernard.
n.b. it is all a matter of taste of course, and the bitter-sweet spectrum of the major Czech beers is well understood. PU is at the bitter end, Budvar at the sweet end and Staropramen in the middle. Svijany and Bernard are bitter, that's the style I personally prefer.
Have you tried St Stefanus, if so, what do you think? It is now owned by SAB and available in Waitrose in the UK. Marketing manager is a friend and claims it and the monks who produce it have not been spoilt by the big multinational company...
EDIT, scrub this, just seen Einstok is already on the menu.
WestVleteren 12 was elected best beer in the world a number of times. Beer specialist Michael Jackson (same name - google him) considered this also as something special. Only ... this is a Trappist beer, made by monks, with a very limited production, hence hard to come by (and sometimes a bit expensive). However ... the guy who was master brewer for years and knew the recipe, started making St-Bernardus 12 following the same recipe. Well known beer specialists can't tell the difference. And it's cheaper and easier to get ! (the shop in Putney I mentioned, have it)
