email notifications

I've started getting email notifications of individual posts on certain threads. Not that I don't want to read all the comments, but would rather do that without all the emails. My contact us link doesn't go anywhere so cannot contact admin - any idea how I stop it?

    You've inadvertently subscribed to a thread. Go to the main page and look down the right hand side. You should see a yellow star against the thread you're subscribed to. Click it to unsubscribe.

    You have probably accidentally "favourited" a thread. You can unfavourable them somewhere in your profile.

    Or do this as it is easier.
