We're the same age, roughly same weight and some style.

Russell Slade's Red and White Army
Is it just me or does Russell look a bit like Gru from Despicable Me In that photo, with little legs?

Like the design, been a fan of shoulder stripes since the Redbus kit. Having a betting sponsor is horrible though.

At least its not one of those betting companies that use dice or chips as part of the logo though.

BetDaq is a bit more discreet as no one has heard of it

NYA how will it look different?

Erm why the different sponsor? That's a dick move, unless it's because of the betting brand.

I assume it's because FA regulations don't allow a betting company to advertise on kids shirts.

Particularly ironic in my case given I let my kids have a correct score or first goalscorer flutter when they come to games with me.

But thats your choice... Your not using a child to advertise a company which is why they dont allow it.

I'd have thought kids would prefer it blank as they can't have the main sponsor. But they probably got about ten grand of contra value out of selling that space.

Happy with the kit, not that bothered about having a betting sponsor either, but then having a University as our sponsor was a bit weird

It's not the shirt - it's the players that wear it.

As kits go it's really nice. Won't be buying though.

its got a league 1 look about it - not a fan off the 'off red' or the shoulder stripes but not really bothered - strategy change enough for me to renew, not enough to start buying merchandise for the kids yet

At what age do you stop being a kid?

Does this mean a seventeen year old playing for the first team would have to wear a different sponsor to the rest of the team?

And Chris Solly who has to wear a kid's size kit, what does he do?

Bit confused by this though. Where does the name go? Or have we signed Brian Itrm?

Quite common to have the sponsor above the name and number. Here is Ajose at Swindon

Look at previous kits, or indeed most other kits, and you will see the name fits underneath fine, even if it's 11 letters long image

It's a condensed form of Interim. Letting us know that all players and coaching staff are indeed interim.

Fair enough, it looks a bit big, but I guess they can make it fit. Looks shit though.

So if we sign this bloke https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Maldonado_Jaimez does that make him the Interim Juan?

This. And I'm sad that we'll (in theory) have them as our sponsor for the next three years.

It'll come to and end at the end of our first season back in the Premiership.

  • It's a bit weird that if you buy your kids the shirt they will ask why theirs looks different from the players.

I understand the regulations but this would be a deal breaker for me. As the kids shirts are going to be different anyway, even more reason, to just buy a basic Nike shirt and add a badge, or not as the case may be.

I like it, I will buy one but not with the adverts on it for £45. They are £14 for the basic shirt. That'll do me!

Am I the only one to say it looks naff?
Looks like something a non league team would wear (coming from a catalogue I suppose)!

It's not very Charlton , last years was much better!

I quite like it to be honest. Even though I have a problem with anyone sponsoring our owners at the moment the itrm logo would look good on the front.
