Am very techy. On computer all day at work and have ipad/Iphone - 10,000+ songs/kindle. never Favorite apps: citymapper/tripadvisor and peak. Buy lots online, food/clothes/ other things I don't really need. Need to stop my social media usage - spending too much time on it. And I am in my 50s...
I'm most curious about the fact that you've only used a cash dispenser a handful of times. I can only assume that you robbed a bank and keep the money under mattress.

I'm on a relatively tight budget so once a month I cash a cheque out over the counter for what will be my spending money for the month, and then that's it a case of making that last to the next month. Occasionally get caught out near the end of the month (like when the trains are shite and I end up going for 8 pints with @DaveMehmet) but only rarely.
Don't trust the things and worry about the card getting cloned using them.

I'm with the earlier posters on this, I know only a very few people now who live in a cash economy now where they either get paid into account and then go to the bank, or just get paid in cash.
I have no idea what actual cash I need to spend in a week and couldn't budget to it, I'd also not want to have the cash floating around.
I reckon the cards do need to be carefully monitored to make sure you don't get robbed.
So do your bank account details, PayPal accounts, debit and credit card details and cash pile though?
I find technology creeps up on you and before you know it you're using and understanding it just as good as anyone else. I tend use the things I need or have an interest in. CAD modelling, for instance, was an interest now I do it for a living , its a must have skill now for me. I would be on a lot less if I had not of moved with the times. I own a Kodi box, an Apple TV box, Sky Q, PlayStation (never used that, not interested) and quite a high end AV system as well as all the other little bit to go with that lot. So I would say me and technology, (the bits I like), are fairly up to date. As for Facebook, Twitter and other forms of social media, it all bores me. I'm just not interested what others are doing or done or what their opinions on the world are.
Same here Kimbo, I am on a desktop PC most days at work, have an ipad at home, a smart phone and a desktop PC at home. Add to that 2 x ipods (car & gym bag) and a kindle.
I buy & sell on Ebay, buy on Amazon, bank on line, invest on line and deal with all the household stuff like electricity, gas, water, rates etc on line.
I use cash machines, love contact-less however I do still write the odd cheque now and again. Never used Uber but do not get a lot of taxis so more due to need rater than technology.
I download all my songs, films and TV shows from various sources and buy kindle books from Amazon. I do not own a DVD player now, everything is downloaded or streamed.
I only use my home desktop PC for Amazon, Ebay, banking, paying bills etc as I don't like this sort of thing on a mobile device, to easy to lose or get stolen and still be logged in when it happens.
I do not get involved in social media, just belong to a few forums connected to my hobbies.
For me, the plus sides of technology are: Sat Nav - Invaluable when driving to a new destination; especially if I'm in the car on my own. Gone are those days with a map on the passenger seat and trying to memorize a route. Sky Box - Recording TV in a easier way or pausing live TV when required. Smart Phone - Internet access on the move and ability to take and share photos. Contactless payment - the fastest transaction you can do (under £30 obviously).
Downside: Self service tills - is there anything else I can do as a customer to save you money...? Internet shopping - the endless signing up and memorising (or not) various passwords. Then there is the issue of trust: Let me part with my money first and then hope the goods turn up...
Had my toaster for five years, still won't pop up when I want it to.
Should have bought a Dualit. They don't pop up, there's a lever you actually have to operate. Still the best toaster in the world though (once you get used to the fact that the timer is clockwork and doesn't care whether you turn the power on or not - its a bummer when the toast is still just bread after a couple of minutes).
So many really simple pieces of technology have made life easier/better.

I make no effort to be up with modern technology, but it's all so easy to access and intuitive to use now I find I get there by default. I also find that if there's something you can't do or don't understand that Google and you tube have it covered in about 10 mins.
Undoubtedly the biggest technological leap this year has been the advent of the waitrose quick check app. No more queues, no more forgetting my 'my waitrose' card, no more speaking to the manual workers, just me, my extra virgin coconut oil, free guardian and latte. Wonderful.

Somebody mentioned passwords. Nightmare in every sense. Every single thing you deal with expects you to know your password, or to have one in the first place. Plug sockets. You need one for the screen, one for the computer, one for the wireless broadband thingy, one for the speakers, one for the phone, one for the printer. Thats all I can remember but the spaghetti is a complete drag.

Can't do that so easier if regularly drawing out / putting things on your card. You must have to check your balance every week.

Think how easy it would be to round up a certain race or whatever now. there is no hiding anymore with all the surveillance we have. apple just last week patented a remote kill switch for the cameras, mics and signal on there phones to be used at "concerts" I'm sure.
Last time I rang First Direct they signed me up for voice recognition. Next time I am going to try a variety of accents, low amplitude, stumbling and stuttering, singing my answers, changing pitch and so on, to test the system out.
