Well we got him on a free so that makes it a fair deal to let him go for the same price, right?

Nope, you don't let your best remaining keeper who is under contract leave for nothing just because you signed him for nothing. The only justification is if his wages are huge. If he's on £10k a week then they'd look at losing him as saving £520k on a player with a bad injury record so you could say that money can go on bringing in another keeper.
because this lot have been great at signing new keepers haven't they.

The only surprise is that we don't appear to be subsidising his wages up there as well. Clueless twats.

Good luck Hendo. A good keeper when fit, and had the balls to come out and do the interview when Meire, Fraeye and others bottled it.

Will always respect him for fronting up flat Huddersfield. He reacted on the pitch that night in a way that said alll was not good as the goals went in. And yet when that coward Carol refused to talk to the media and sat on the coach, it was left to Hendo. He called it spot on after being asked to speak to the media by the club. The club then promptly up him out to dry. Totally clueless and classless.

Thanks for the service Hendo, if you stay fit you will be a big asset for Forest.

Spot on I was there that night him and Solly were less best pleased with what was going on around them and I distinctly remember Reza getting his life history from Solly after getting sent off for two ridiculous challenges. Mind you Reza couldn't tackle to save his life.

Top bloke Hendo. Good luck to you.
Stay injury free mate, and fight your way back into contention for the republic.

So with two weeks to go we now have an inexperienced and recovering Phillips. A massively untested Mitov.
Both of whom could easily get injured although I hope neither do.

The agents must be licking their lips right now.
  • All the best Stephen.

Played a huge role in keeping us up the previous season.

Probably one of three signing since RD that I have actually liked.

Nope - we just paid him off instead apparently.

Sadly I doubt it. Even clueless wankers like them can't seriously believe that this is how to prepare for a successful season?!
  • Charlton are 20/1 to get relegated. Although it goes against my principles I#ve stuck £50 on it so if it pans out like I think then at least I have some pleasure and Roland/Liar will hopefully FUCK OFF.

On a serious note - Hendo didn't have a great season last season, however he has been one of the most outspoken players under this regime. He has communicated well with the fans, stepped up for that interview after Fraeye lost his 'cojones' and he lost his place in the team after speaking his mind. I really do hope he lets his opinions loose in his interview with the SLP in the coming days.

Good luck to him. He desereves better than out club.

Once again I'm glad we didn't get a big fee for him - the less money Roland makes off our players the better.

Yet another departure that was a racing certainty this summer - like every departure so far with the possible exception of Pope. But on a free is a surprise. Good luck Hendo. Liked you and like all the rest you're better out of this madhouse.
  • To let him go on a free transfer is a joke decision by joke owners from what has quickly become a joke of a club.
