We have done everything here protest wise and it has brought the most national awareness / press coverage you could imagine. Yet little has changed.

Two aspects that need to be pushed further is the financial impact on the club - marching, chanting, banners, stopping games etc haven't brought change, let's see if boycotting / financially impacting the club does, and secondly increase the awareness/ shaming to RD and Katrien in Belgium
  • Protests outside Melexis HQ.

Visit their AGM and kick up a fuss.

Find a way to legally hit him in his pocket. Go to Belgium. Find people who can get news stories out about him in Belgium.

Protest outside the Belgium embassy in London.

    Leaflet his house and neighbours.

get on the Internet, find a list of all of his business interests and hire a Flemish speaking IT geek to bombard all their Social Media channels with 'Charlton' messages, constantly and repeatedly so it is picked up in the Belgium press.

A room lined with plastic sheeting, plenty of duct tape and some power tools.
  • Can't see how you get through to him as nobody understands him. Boycott doesn't seem to bother him as it just means he'll cut costs further - losses will inevitably follow until he sells up or just dismantles the club.
He can afford to live with the losses and isn't bothered by results on the pitch - how do you beat a man like that?
Truly despise the guy but nothing seems to touch him. Another couple of seasons like this then we'll be looking at AFC Charlton.

    This is the problem.

All I can think of is he hates embarrassment - his ego. So some of the stuff mentioned above. It's just getting enough people to put it all into action.

And over here making the witches' life misery. But same thing applies really people willing to get involved.

If you protest like they do in France you might get somewhere but that's not our way unfortunately. If there's an industrial dispute or protest in France they don't p*** about.
Not sure how they do things in Belguim but I imagine it's more like the British way.
RD seems a very detached and aloof person - possibly on the autistic spectrum? He doesn't seem concerned by all the upset he's caused or maybe just doesn't understand. KM is just an arrogant vile woman who thrives on attention.

    Steal his duct tape.
  • Would the CARD funds run to a poster campaign in Brussels ? A few well placed humerous but focussed billboards strategically placed around the City would cause him no end of embarrassment.

We certainly have the wit, will and expertise on here to do a job enough to make him squirm.

As many have said there aren't the numbers needed to do the Belgium protest successfully, and when we turned the heat up albeit by accident we were grilled on here!

@The_President showing up at Katrien's parents house and us turning up in her neighborhood hit them hard! but they would have came on here and saw the reaction and it would have set them at ease.

As for getting Katrien to leave, this wont change Roland's mind, and he will not sack her, as i have said before it is clear that they are like family, and we have the photo proof to support that.

We done some good work across there last season, and hopefully that can be replicated this season.

The protest has got political now and a lot of squabbling etc.. so this will drive people away from the commitment to the Belgian protests.

Clearly there is only one original and correct term and that is not the Johnny come lately phrase whose first recorded use is from 1965.

Duct tape is invented during World War II. American soldiers use the strong, versatile adhesive for everything from repairing broken windows to making temporary bandages.

Is there an equivalent to Private Eye in Belgium?
Can we find Belgian satirical comedians to joke about him, and us?

That's a re-writing of history by a company that used a generic product name and turned it into a brand. As demonstrated above the first recorded use of 'duck tape' was 1899 and 'duck' as the material that gives it the name was out hundreds of years before that.
