You obviously never saw me play in goal at Crook Log Primary School around 1959-1961 than SHGShootersHillGuru said:That’s as bad as anything I’ve seen before

So bad it almost looks on purpose1
-
It was a bad (low) bounce - but shocking basic technique0
-
That's a howler for sure.0

Of our 3 loan keepers Rudd, Amos and Steer, I was most disappointed with Rudd.5
-
Charlie Wright had a couple of those with us5

Calm down. This kind of shit happens at least twice a game in every women's Premier league game...5

Rudd could always say 'we weren't going to win so it doesn't matter'.4

WTF was in the water for Goalkeeper this weekend???

As did Gary Sprake for Leeds. Still was a vital part of one of the best teams ever to play in English top flight football.lolwray said:Charlie Wright had a couple of those with us
Keepers' mistakes are amplified and they are remembered for that. An outfielder's open goal miss not so.0 -

Remember the Gary Sprake cock-up at Liverpool. The Kop, as ever, were on it like lightning. Ken Dodd was top of the charts with 'Careless Hands' and almost before he had picked the ball out of the net, thousands of them broke into song. Brilliant!Addick Addict said:

I literally made a noise like I'd been punched in the stomach when I saw that.paulie8290 said:For anyone that hasnt seen it
Thought he was decent. Think Amos was clearly better, and Steer probably more rounded.1 -
Hamer was better than either for me.SDAddick said:

He's had to retire because of a knee injury. All the best Declan.

That's sad, only 31, young for a keeper.

Sad news, far too young. An unusual injury for a keeper too?

It's usually a back injury for goalkeepers. All that bending over to pick the ball out of the net!killerandflash said:Sad news, far too young. An unusual injury for a keeper too?1 -
Just think how much shorter his career would have been had he stayed with us.thetomahawkkid said:
