    The back line is very inexperienced following defenders being loaned out and it showed. Kuczynski got a yellow card for a very poor tackle. It could have been a red. He was pulled off shortly afterwards at half time.

    Zach Mitchell had a good game. He was in midfield in the first half and covered a lot of the pitch. In the second half he replaced Kuczynski in central defence. Anyone who says he lacks speed is just plain wrong. Dawson the Watford No 9 was a real handful but Mitchell stood up to him.

    Dixon hit a post and Hebbert blasted a very simple chance over the bar. Late on a Charlton free kick hit the bar before Watford broke away to score their third.
