Slightly surprised a team with Barker, Ness, Mingi, Henry, Powell, Vennings and Davison lost by 3.  Wonder what team Wigan had out, all their best players would have moved on in the summer.

Yes, they lost a number of their best youngsters in the summer, that's a bit of a disappointing performance really, considering the number of highly rated youngsters with 1st team experience in that side

He was at Hurstmere School, Sidcup, but that was a lot longer than 20 years ago.
