If Dixon gets game time the fans will need to show him the type of tolerance Thierry Small gets. It is fair to ask what more does Dixon have to do, but you could ask that about some others, notably Casey. They both offer very different styles.

Dixon is nowhere near ready. Scoring against weak U21 sides is a million miles from playing in League One. He has looked very ordinary in two games that I watched recently. Give him time.
Must have been ok yestersay evening to get a hattrick
Casey and Mbick (when he was fit) score plenty at u21 too, but there doesn’t seem to be any demand for them to get a chance in the first team. Dixon seems to have been overhyped because we paid a small fee for him and he has caps for Jamaica.
The concerns are more about Dixon’s all round game. He scores goals, works hard, will try something unexpected, but he’s still getting stronger and can improve his decision making, link up play, sometimes his composure in front of goal etc.
I think we can trust Jones to involve young players when they’re ready, including Dixon. I don’t think these last 10 games are the right time to throw any of the u21s in, but if Jones does I’ll back his judgement.
I don’t know if Dixon is ready but we might be approaching the stage where we need more information about him. He has a four year contract so will need playing at some point. What I want opinion on is what does Dixon now need to add to his game rather than bulk to his body.
Charlton's U21s are back in action on Tuesday afternoon when they face AFC Bournemouth at The Valley (KO 1pm GMT).
Fans can attend Tuesday's fixture with admission priced at £3 for adults and £2 for concessions, while 2024/25 men's season-ticket holders and Valley Gold members go free.
Ahadme the nearly man. Nearly got to the cross, nearly connected, nearly headed it in, nearly beat his man, nearly...nearly. Hope he comes good - maybe just a confidence thing.

Bower had the ball on his left foot, cut back onto his weaker right foot and hit it into the top corner, assisted by Fullah.
Fullah picked up a loose pass from the defender and placed a low shot into the corner just outside the box.
Any chance the club can put up the highlights?

Kanu and Adhadme upfront will be interesting.
So far we could be doing with the very effective 'hinge' play of Kedwell in the midfield.
Casey on for Kanu
great forceful persistance.
