We're playing a much higher tempo than recently with Mwamba, Brown and Belton looking good.
Dixon very involved and closing down well. He's rubbish, get rid!

Hilarious that the first comment is about getting Dixon in the first team. Good movement and good goals but if he watched a midfielder just head the ball twice while deciding not to challenge in the first team he'd be ripped to shreds by the fanbasefenaddick said:1 -
Couldn't watch this one - how was Dixon's all round play? He'll always score goals at this level, but I always feel the question marks are about the rest of his game. The chances he misses, keeping possession, decision making etc. To be fair from the line up it looks like he was playing as a lone striker in a 4-3-3, which is never going to be ideal for him.
Good to see such a big win with so many u18s involved. I expect a lot of them will be offered pro deals by the summer, most of the 2nd years have been getting more regular u21 minutes as the seasons gone on.0 -
What on earth was the Peterborough no 4 doing for our 4th?fenaddick said:1 -

I was at the game this afternoon & attend as many u21games as possible, my view on Dixon is, he works very hard & gets into some good goalscoring positions, he wastes as many chances as he scores & gets caught offside quite a few times, i would be very surprised if he makes many or if any 1st team appearances in the future.
I can confirm that Josh Herbert was the trialist & he has looked quite promising in the few games i've seen him play.

Dixon had a very good game yesterday giving the Peterborough defenders a lot of trouble. He lasted the game with a lot of fast running.
He is a project for Charlton and is clearly learning with the under 21 coaches.1 -
