As opposed to the 'never been his biggest fan' angle, I have always rated Josh and its been painful the last few games seeing the impact of the non-scoring run affect his confidence. About 5 mins before he scored on Saturday he'd put a few doggy sprints in trying to close down two defenders and I stood and gave it a big 'come of Josh, keep working fella' cheer and applause so was delighted to see him finally get some reward just a few mins later.

Well I say see, I was taking jnr to the toilet when he and the Oxford goals went in, but you get my drift!

Testament to the guy (gets knocked out of the FA Cup as the top scorer). Now this is a player I wouldn't mind back

  • He's 34 now - wouldn't say he's any sort of upgrade on what we have.
Good player on his day, always looked a unit.
