Roland is winning

I enjoyed the atmosphere at the games when we protested.14

Coupled with the fact that potentially the vast majority left in the ground are not interested in protesting(although still agreeing that the club is on its knees).Henry Irving said:

Just over 9k announced at The Valley last night .
We've been relegated, he is haemorrhaging money, his mad scheme has failed and his public reputation in the UK is in tatters.
A few desperate apologists want to pretend that one league win over Shrewsbury, yes the mighty Shrewsbury, in division three means that all is well and we were wrong to protest.
They can carry on pretending but even if we get into the top six (As I said pre-season we would) this season is still a year in lower division than when he bought us, with huge debt, a declining supporter and sponsor base and a quarter built training ground where work has stopped.
5000 fans down on last season tells you all you need to know.
The football does not matter anymore, the Belgians have to go before we can move forward.1 -
One swallow doesn't make a summer #justsaying ;-)0

I reckon there are ulterior motives that mean Duchatelet can suffer the 'losses'.Athletico Charlton said:RD is losing money on us and his investment is currently worthless. Sure, the 'gathering' (not really enough to call it a crowd), may not be barracking and protesting but if having no protests is his definition of winning then there are a million other things he would/could have done with his money.
This b****** will cripple us ultimately.3 -
In fairness, you could argue that things are looking pretty rosy. After all, there's only one team between us and the top 50 teams in England. If only we can find some way of overcoming the mighty Fleetwood.1

Will you go and watch AFC Charlton?scabbyhorse said:Please keep your protests out of the stadium as i have enjoyed the atmosphere at the last two games , thankyou.

Boring boring boring - he isn't winning - his plan has failed and he has now changed strategy to get himself in a position where he can sell the club - what is so hard to understand - get down there and support the team, get promoted and get rid of rd asap - it's that simple - or crucify yourself in a long drawn out nonsense1

Winning ? Rarely does a civil war get a real winner, only losers ....

Boring? Still peddling the same nonsense about Roland changing with no evidence.DOUCHER said:Boring boring boring - he isn't winning - his plan has failed and he has now changed strategy to get himself in a position where he can sell the club - what is so hard to understand - get down there and support the team, get promoted and get rid of rd asap - it's that simple - or crucify yourself in a long drawn out nonsense
Still selling our best players, still leaving the squad shol8rt, still not coming to games.
He has changed his plans of rebuilding the training ground and he's run out of Belgian coaches but nothing else has moved.
What is cute is that you still believe the major factor in us getting promoted is whether we protest or not rather than the quality and depth of the squad.4 -
PS he could have sold the club last season or this season. He's rufused to even speak to prospective buyers.
He could have sold in the Championship but he didn't but now you believe he'll only sell if we're in the championship. Doesn't make sense just like most of the waffle they feed you and you pass on here like a beard.6 -
Really? U have a bizarre imagination - I hope u give the team a chance that's all - protest outside all u like for all I care - I may even re join u in stadium if season turns to shitHenry Irving said:

Supposing he really has changed a bit (I said a bit.....) and we have an ok season: play offs or even promotion?
Do we keep on questioning him, slagging him off and protesting?
Or - to put it another way: at what point would people feel ok about the situation and let him get on with it?
We have a strategy for trying to remove him. Is there one for accepting him if things turn around?1 -
If he reverted back to the foreign nonsense then he would have to b hounded out but I believe his experiment is over - anything else is illogical2

So you would join the protests if the season turns to shit? Says a lot about how fickle you are.DOUCHER said:

I think we'll be top six, I even had a bet on it, and I want us to go up winning every game.
But unlike you my opposition to the regime won't flip flop on a few results.11 -

For those who think the win over Shrewsbury makes it all OK, take a look at the attached spreadsheet that shows Charlton and Shrewsbury have performed since 2000.

Until it happens it's not worth spending too much time working on a plan for an unlikely hypothetical situation.
So far the direction of travel has all been down.
Even promotion, that I want to see, only gets us back where we were.
The one undoubtedly good thing they did was the training ground and they've even messed that up.7 -
Given his track record I can't see it but even if he changes tack, why on earth would you want to dance with the devil? Anyway hell will freeze over before the old fool admits he was wrong and plots a completely different course.simonmatthews said:Supposing he really has changed a bit (I said a bit.....) and we have an ok season: play offs or even promotion?

The damage he has done to the club and fans lives cannot be forgiven so the sooner he and his puppet are gone the better irrespective of what division we are in.1 -
Something is driving the horrible cowardly cnut, and meire must be due to earn a proper penny from it or she would have walked, target her and tony cahone see how much they can take
Tower Bridge Road may be a starting point for a nice poster blitz1 -

zzzzz really??? who's they??? we weren't relegated then and now we are and it is clear that the previous strategy - his model - has been abandoned - understand?Henry Irving said:PS he could have sold the club last season or this season. He's rufused to even speak to prospective buyers.
