My car was parked outside KBS Builders Merchants off Woolwich Road.
Just to let you know also that you did an excellent job - a full length, deep gouge!
The culprit is highly unlikely to use this site due to it being frequented by only high standing, honourable individuals but .....,just in case.

I wonder about the psychological aspect to this kind of vandalism.
I suppose that it's carried out by young guys who don't feel that they have any prospects of good job, decent car etc. I'm guessing that Purdis's car is a decent one. So they resent those who do have those nice unobtainable things. And the only way that they feel that they have influence over those who they see as more 'visible' than themselves is to inconvenience them.
They way that I cope with this crap (and I was mugged and beaten fairly badly a few years ago by a group of young guys), is that the inconvenience to the decent people is probably is less harsh that having to live life being one of those hopeless, destructive young idiots. If only they could see it themselves.

Feel for you. I parked my car on a busy high street when out for a curry a few weeks ago. Came back to find some scroat had booted the passenger door in. Such a pointless act. I managed to pull the dent out (mostly) but still left a crease.
As for punishment. Could go the whole hog and get them a seat in the director's box. Sorry if that's a bit too sick and twisted.1 -
