Much rather see away goals that penalties.

Saints deserved to win for scoring three goals away from home.

Its still a bad way to lose but penalties are just a joke.

If they MUST have penalties then they should take them after 90 mins and then the side which loses the shoot-out then has the 30 mins of extra time to win the game normally. As it is most ET's are too tight because nobody wants to concede. Golden goal is shite as well.

I hate away goals. I reckon it is unreal football.

What? And penalties are "real football?" At least away goals encourage the away side to come out and attack and not grind out a 0-0 draw.

I still think pens should be at the end of 90 and THEN play ET.

I didn't say I think penalties are right but I do like them when I'm not involved or when we or England win the shoot out. CAFC have a far better record than England! In fact off the top of my head I can only think of one occasion when England have won one, V Spain Euro '96.

With away goals I just don't like it when a team playing at home 2nd have the advantage of knowing that a draw will see them through or even a defeat in some cases.
