  • really heavy and steady rain here in Brum this almost cold morning .. bring your raincoats and hats .. NO brollies please ((:>)
  • Wet and windy is the forecast not likely to be pretty football if either team opts for the up and under. Defenders will not relish the conditions 100% concentration required. A good day for Ajose to sniff out an opportunity and get off the mark for a 1-0 smash and grab.

Ex addick (of just four games) Neil Etheridge in goal for them.

Let's hope he has a 0-5 away at Watford display then. Never rated him which means he'll probably have a blinder :disappointed: .
He wasn't even that bad in that game
  • First Crossroads of the season this match. The result will push Charlton on or pull the fans together against Roland once more.Have to wait for team news to call this one but Walsall is not the best place to travell looking for your first away goal of the season.
  • I think it will be draw.

Family tickets at £24 will still be available at the ground today from the Walsall ticket office, you pay full price at the turnstiles.

I'd have rather had you in goal that day mate
  • "The conditions were tricky for both sides, but nullified our attacking play especially"
"It was especially hard defending our goal in the first half when conditions were at their worst"
"The rain made the game a lottery"

Sorry, just predicting the post match excuses :-)

  • 6-0 Charlton
  • 1:1 in the 2nd minute of added time with 3 more minutes to go...
  • 1:1 in the 2nd minute of added time with 3 more minutes to go...

That is very specific, what odds can you get on that?

Like others I've got a feeling that Ajose will notch his first for the mighty Addicks. Won't be enough to get us three points as we grind out an unspectacular draw.
  • Gone for 3-2 Charlton.
  • Think it will be much the same as Bury away, hope i have to eat my words.I have only seen the cup game at Cheltenham this season so maybe you can understand why i say this.

Got the score, weather and conditions wrong but the result and goalscorer correct. It wasn't quite a smash grab though, thought we were the better side but it could have finished level as Walsall finished strongly. Not a bad game to watch.
