After THD's performance away at St Andrews last season, I don't know why he didn't hold down a regular place. Him and Lookman were superb.

Agreed but THD played right back that day and his opportunities have been limited since then but sadly I haven't seen him reproduce that level of performance since.
  • I hope he stays. Good player and one that we can take up to the championship.
  • Obviously the rumour monger got the wrong end of the stick when he found out Udders were after a left back from Charlton! It's THD!

    Shows Udders aren't stupid.
  • I've always been a fan of Fox but then again, I also thought Simon Francis was a good player but felt in a minority of one with him too....

See I like Fox. Think he's a decent player who's had a lot of stick from fans.

Francis however, was IMO dog shit at Charlton. One of the worst I've seen. Maybe it was his lack of effort... Maybe it was his lack of ability. Since his Charlton days he has obviously come on leaps and bounds as there was a point last season whereby he was being mentioned in the same sentence as England!

I think letting Fox OR THD go would be a massive mistake.
  • Replace promising youngsters with 30 something journeymen on short term contracts.

Amazing that Lookman is still here.

It is, indeed, the road to ruin.

I expect the only reason Lookman is still here is that we haven't had a firm offer for him. There will probably be a couple of derisory ones over the next week by clubs to see if they can sign him for a 'bargain basement' fee. Why wouldn't they, given the ineptitude and myopia of this regime ?

All Duchatelet (and hence, Meire) cares about is maximising sales in order to try and mitigate the losses incurred as a result of last season's relegation. The man is completely incapable of taking even a medium term view and has zero emotional engagement with our football club.
  • Hate to give any benefit of doubt to the regime but I imagine THD has forced this . He's not had a look in for us so I can't blame him

Thing is we're all comparing him to Paul Konchesky in the fact that we think he'd be better in Midfield but maybe its closer to the Paul Konchesky situation than we realise; THD isnt getting a look in at Left-Back because of Morgan Fox and maybe doesnt want to play in Midfield so like Konchesky is leaving so he can play his natural position.

Can he though? Huddersfield also have left back, one they signed in the summer.
