At least the Football League have put Scunthorpe v Middlesbrough in as the earliest fixture.
After all it wouldn't make sense to have Shrewsbury or Cambridge v Middlesbrough later in winter when fans are going to be even less enthusiastic about travelling long distances in the cold when trains / roads might be screwed!!
Lowest reported crowd so far tonight,392 at Fleetwood v Blackburn [82 visiting fans]. Some other attendances 585 at Accrington v Crewe [110 visiting fans] 461 at Wimbledon v Swansea 1540 at Bolton v Everton-lowest ever crowd at the Macron stadium.
saw something on twitter about fans of the u23 clubs deliberately boycotting as its a farce of a tournament, get there point a club like mansfield getting a big day out at wembley is what it should be about.
Got to laugh, the head of Checkatrade said this when they took over:
"We're delighted to be associated with so many well respected and prestigious clubs participating in the Checkatrade Trophy and we look forward to engaging with fans over the coming season"
Not quite sure he had the likes of Brighton and Reading's U23s in mind!

Total attendance no more than 20,000.
(Although KM will probably announce our gate tonight as 27,111 ...)
That reminds me of us playing Millwall in the Anglo Italian cup...
We took 1500 to Oxford! But that was in the area SF.

When was the last time Charlton scored 5 goals in a competitive game at the Valley?
It was said that any fans buying tickets for last night would earn extra priority points for their away league games.
