Interesting that East Kent Addicks seem happy to talk to the Press but not their fellow fans.

    #Justsaying

    but won't give a name.

Not like John Comberford to be so shy, usually quite happy to share his views on other supporters, aren't you John

lovely sunny day in East Kent, just had a short walk along the white cliffs.
  • A balanced article, in that it gave both sides a chance to air their views, albeit with more from the protesting side!

Agree but a real shame Mowgli wasn't mentioned as he's the very definition of why the fans can never, ever trust the regime and why they have no clue about running a football club in this country (or anywhere actually).

"I’ve been going since 1952, and Duchâtelet has put more money into the club than any other owner, but he’s had more stick than any other. I think that’s down to social media.”

Pathetic. Should be named and (a)shamed.

How much has he wasted though on shoddy players on crazy contracts.

And all at 3% to Staprix!!

What sane person could write that? Most of the money he's put in has been as a direct consequence of selling good players for less than their worth and buying new ones for way more than they're worth.

Who are these oddballs that think like this?!
Thing is, its no longer people on the wind up. This guy obviously takes time out of his personal life to be involved in EKA, and still comes out with shite like that.

    Complete weirdos.
  • We have the worst CEO in English football, an owner who has no interest in football or the club's history and a series of laughable managerial appointments. What's not to like?

You've got to be pretty dumb to be taken in by RD....

    Can we Rename this thread?

" Lighting red touch paper " should do it.
  • Just shows how John Comberford and EKA have been conned.

He's loaned the money to the club. We have £38m+ of debt to Roland.

He hasn't put more money in, just more debt.

And that debt means he is asking a silly price of the few potential buyers he will actually talk to.

Absolutely and I would like to see how JC backs up his assertion that RD put more into the club than any other owner.

Its not about how much money is put into the club its about how it is spent; the money has been wasted beyond doubt.

Very good, well-researched piece, albeit spoiled by quotes from someone who's clearly happy to have the wool pulled over their eyes. Guess it shows how important it is to keep the issues in the public consciousness.
  • Too much stick?

Nowhere near enough if you ask me!

John Commerford has been on here in the past mentioning his support since 1952. He also affirmed how interested in supporters' views Michael Slater was when he was chairman. Draw your own conclusions.

He's fully entitled to his views but following yesterday's website quotes he's evidently the club's quisling of choice. No respect for refusing to be named in this piece.

Overall, though, it's a balanced and fair article.

    I like what your saying.
But almost certainly the Dynamic duo would fail to accept they are an official group.
I'd like to see Airman in any group ( if he's not scared!) ;) Henry, Pico, Prague, Curb_it, Afka, Mrs F, Weegie and NLA just to sit next to Tony. Lol ;)
  • " His side are 10th going into Saturday’s game at Fleetwood, but with a game in hand after international call-ups led to the visit of Scunthorpe "
Says it all really, not meaning but probably sounding disrespectful to the two clubs mentioned, this really sums up how the "mistake" have cost us.
As for the apologist in the article, he must be eating dodgy mushrooms if see social media as the problem.
