I will probably get told off for posting without marking the players but...

Fans: 10 well done to all who went to the game. Proper Charlton on a Tuesday night.

Rudd - 7.5 dealt with dangerous crosses very well.

Solly - 7 defended well, could have attacked better at times but a solid performance.

Fox - 7 ditto Solly, but he seems to receive the ball twice as much as Solly so looks worse.

Bauer - 7 solid

Pearce - 7 solid

Crofts - 6.5 played well enough, but I struggled to notice him.

Foley - 7 probably his best game for us so far, had some nice flicks and 1-2s with Lookman and Ulvstead which I didn't know he was capable of.

Ulvstead - 7.5 he gets forward very well, it's nice to have a midfielder like that in our team of old men. Has a good touch and passes it about nicely to. He seems to disappear for 10-20mins but I think he makes up for it with his passing and drive.

Jackson - 7 battled well like the rest of the midfield. He was our biggest threat aerially and hit the post from a free kick.

Lookman - 8 will receive a terrible ball, somehow control it and take it round two players and create a chance from nothing. Was consistently dangerous when he had the ball. He stepped up well to fill the creative gap Holmes left.

Magennis - 6.5 can't be too critical, he does well considering the ball is lumped at him from anywhere and he is expected to get on the end of it, he battled well with their centre backs and midfield and laid the ball off nicely a few times. However, more often than not he wouldn't win the header.

Botaka - honourary 8 he was dangerous with every touch, won the free kick from which Jackson hit the post, put in a nice cross and could have scored all in the space of 5 minutes. Hopefully he earns a start soon, then again maybe he's one of those players that is better as an impact sub?

Rudd: 7 -dealt with crosses well. Not really challenged. Few goal kicks straight to touch.
Solly: -7.5 typical performance
Fox: -7 bit of good,bit of bad
Bauer: 7 solid
Pearce: 7 solid
Lookman: 8 by far and away the best player on the pitch. Keep beating players over and over again.
Crofts: 7 very tidy, got us out of potential trouble a couple of times.
Foley: 6.5- not sure what he added, should have been subbed earlier.
Ulvestad: 6 disappeared at times, went down too easily on occasion.
Jackson: 7- unlucky not to score with another peach of a free kick at the death, solid otherwise.
Maginnis: 7.5- won nearly every battle, really impressed with his ability to bring other players in to play. Seemed to have great awareness.
