iPod help

Apologies for posting this here but hopefully I'll get an answer quicker than using the Apple site...

I have an iPod mini. My wife has also just gone out and bought a new iPod and in preparation of this auspicious event has proceeded to import all of her crap cds into our iTunes library. As a consequence, the first time I plugged my iPod in after she did this it auto sync'd my iPod and downloaded all her crap on to mine. This means that mine is now full. Of crap. 2 questions:

1. How do I delete the stuff that I don't want on my iPod from it? I don't want to delete it from the Library because obviously she wants it.

2. How do I stop iTunes "auto syncing" my Ipod and putting all the crap back on it the next time I plug it in?

    Keep the ipod, lose the wife.

    You may be able to cure this by creating a seperate windows profile for your wife and for yourself, so you both logon separately, giving you each a separate itunes library.
