Slade 3 One up front at home to Rochdale, gave Maginnes a partner and then took him off on no time, took off one of our two best players, static in the tech area, strikes me as clueless.

Fox: - 4 - Never seen him play worse
Bauer: - 6 - reasonable
Pearce: - 4 - not good enough
Holmes: - 6.5 - clear quality - not at his best - too much of a show pony for my liking
Crofts: - 4 - not good enough
Ulvestad: - 4 - not good enough
Jackson: - 3 - worst I have seen him play. After he missed the pen I don't remember a meaningful contribution
Lookman: - 7 - far better than anyone else on the pitch - despite poor corners. He needs to be playing off the front man
Maginnes: - 5.5 - put in a shift - largely ineffectively
Ajose: - 4.5 - no real impact
Slade - (minus 5) This was one of the most depressing performances I have ever watched. There was nothing to commend it against a team who were devoid of any real ambition.0 -

Rudd: 6 everyone gets a five unless they did better or worse than average in what was a pretty shit game. Rudd did one good save and looked like he cared.
Foley: 5 ok in his correct position
Fox: 5.5 got forward and had a shot on target.
Bauer: 5

Jackson: 2 I knew he'd fluff his penalty.

Maginnes: 6 like him. He tries. Has no support at all

Rudd: 7 - not that much to do but a very competent and solid goalie
Foley: 5 - did ok but offered nothing offensively
Fox: 6 - did alright
Bauer: 5.5 - central defence looked a bit shaky at times
Pearce: 5.5 - ditto. Quite an industrial player
Holmes: 6.5 - had a nightmare in the first half, did very well in the second until he was given the hook (he probably hadn't trained much with the injury but didn't look to be struggling)
Crofts: 4 - started off more lively than usual but soon achieved the level of mediocrity we have come to expect
Ulvestad: 5 - lightweight
Jackson: 3 - very poor and totally off the pace. Ridiculous to try and play him off Magennis (although maybe no more ridiculous than having Foley as the most advanced midfielder at Oxford)
Lookman: 7.5: MoM - some terrible corners and faded as the game went on but he produced some outstanding moments of skill and was our main source of hope. Destined to go to the top
Magennis: 6 - as ever, he worked hard with practically zero support. Should have put away the rebound from the penalty save
Ajose: 5 - another unconvincing cameo0 -

Jackson: 3.5 - barely saw him involved, cant remember a pass in the 1st half
Lookman: 7.5 just made it all happen, he is so talented, he must cry himself to sleep after training with his teammates each day.
Maginnes: 5 Not a good game, but where was the service? Having to run onto his own flick ons as the attack was so uncoordinated.
Ajose: 5 fluffed his lines once but should have been on at half time0 -

Rudd: 7 nothing wrong, distribution better
Foley: 6.5 quite like him at RB
Fox: 6 somewhat the root of 'lump it long', worked hard and put in some good crosses
Bauer: 7 played well
Pearce: 6 gave away some fouls, and not so good with the ball at his feet. Generally looked untroubled.
Holmes: 6 honestly a 2 for the first half, he was so poor. Second half he was our attacking outlet again with some great runs that drew fouls and the penalty. Perfect time to bring him off then, can't be having that.
Crofts: 5 don't think he was awful like some others, but not good and every week I will out whine on about him being too deep off the ball
Ulvestad: 5 loped around slowly, gave the ball away a bit
Jackson: 5 Little contribution except missing the pen, attacked the ball from a corner like none of our other players do but didn't quite connect. That's his value now, a bit of a goalscoring instinct from midfield but it doesn't look good on days like Saturday when he misses a penalty and doesn't create anything.
Lookman: 7.5 class touches, came deep to make his own space and brought others into the game. Technical, young and makes good decisions - make the most of it between now and January.
Maginnes: 5.5 don't blame him really, but up front on his own he couldn't do anything. I watched The Martian last week and Matt Damon looked less isolated.
Ajose: 5.5 hard to give him anything else, he was briefly average-poor in a pretty poor team performance.
Novak n/a looked better than Tuesday at least, not difficult
