Once went to see Dinosaur Jr. in Brighton, think it was around 2009, I asked my mate who got us the tickets if there was a support band, "I dunno" was his response. There was, and they were fantastic, better than Dinosaur Jr.. No one had listened to what their name was so I had to go online when I got home to find out who they were. Dead Confederate, they became my favourite band for the next few years as well.
Yes, Wolf Alice are a class act. They performed 'You're a Germ' on Jools Holland's muso programme a while ago and they were startlingly good. I went to see Ted Milton's three-piece band Blurt at The Birds Nest in Deptford last year and they were superb. Uncategorisable, but a sort of Captain Beefheart meets Public Image Limited. Unsettling music but hugely enjoyable.

I only knew whipping Piccadilly, and didn't like it. Went with a mate who had a spare... Possibly one of the best gigs I've been to
