Fire in Chislehurst?

I think she's wondering how bad the delays/traffic are, but Twitter has, surprisingly, given me nothing. Anybody else know whats up?

Had a few beers with me brother in the Old Mill and The Star a coupla months back. Then in the Plumstead Pantry for some bread pudding, sat on me stomach like a lump of tarmac, lovely mindRedChaser said:

I drove across the main junction by the War Memorial from Petts Wood to Chislehurst around 8pm and there was a huge amount of smoke coming across the road from somewhere but couldnt suss where it was coming from.
[EDIT] having seen where it was, the smoke I saw was nothing to do with it!!!0 -
You sure it wasn't your house @cafcnick19923

Hate to tell you mate but it was a ruse from your Missus so you didnt suspect anything.LuckyReds said:The missus has just rang to ask me if I could check Twitter for any news of a fire in Chislehurst, apparently she's seen a fair few police and a massive amount of smoke. This is all from the station and up to the hill I think.

The cannibis article is hilarious but refers to a fire in the morning that took place a couple of miles away from the station and the war memorial, where smoke was allegedly seen billowing in the evening. So it seems @ricky_otto's explanation is still the most plausible.1
