  • Been in Bristol since 9am this morning and can't face hanging around to go to the game so now on a train back to London.

Most trains running ok but it's been raining pretty much the whole time I was there.

Based on the current weather forecast, Bristol Rovers do not have any concerns over their pitch for tonight's match. #cafc

That's sad that you've decided to go home early.

Bristol is a pretty lively city with lots of things to see and do.
There's history, heritage and art galleries - you could have even gone aboard Brunel's famous steamship, SS Great Britain.

  • Finished work meetings and headed off, contemplated going to the game....for a while
  • Finished work meetings and headed off - to the pub. Mind you, I could go to an art gallery pre-match :)

The ssGreat Britain is getting an expanded visitor "experience" next year however so you may want to defer until next season if we manage to remain in a division with a Bristol club in it...
  • For anyone who is on the 22:35 back to London. What do you think the best option is? Getting a taxi to temple mead or the other station?
  • Don't think the 22.35 goes to Bristol Parkway, so I would say Temple Meads. Parkway is marginally closer to the Memorial Ground but tends to be the trains through from Wales.

I was meant to say Filton Abbey wood for the 22:09 train or is the timing to tight?

  • You should be OK but it might be tight, depending on the post-match traffic, if there is any!

Does that mean we have to watch out for divers in the box?

I can perfectly understand why your worried Fiiiish
There may also be confusion if someone announces that they're bringing on a sub...
Especially if it's a Uboat, they're still lurking about like the one here  .
    Lurking about?
