The New Manager Interview Process- COL on the panel

Apparently Chris O'Loughlin was on the panel who interviewed Karl Robinson and Gary Caldwell.

I don't normally get any inside info, but was told this morning.

I'm sorry, how on earth can someone who has been here only two weeks be interviewing on the panel.

Too right. He's come in and we've scored 7 and conceded 1. The man is a genius

I wonder if Meire deflected Douchebags intention to install O'Loughlin as the Head Coach - having him parachuted into a coaching role and interviewer of incoming managers was possibly a compromise solution. Did she also block his plans to install Vinegar as well - who knows!

In any case Congo Chris is under qualified to coach a local Sunday League side let alone being anywhere near a L1 Professional set up - farcical.
  • If true, that is a very unique

No surprise. In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. What would Meire, Keohane or Joyes bring to it? Was Sue Parkes included too?

Caldwell wanted to bring a team of six as part of the set up. I bet KM and COL just looked at each other and laughed!
  • As any decent manager who has control of the whole team affairs would want to

If that's true I would have laughed as well!

Robinson must be utterly desperate to get back in to management to put up with this. Frankly, they all deserve each other.

Yeah like any standard manager would. You know, build the club up, get the right people in.
Give Caldwell a buzz back when the owners have gone.

I'm disappointed we haven't got the Nobby Vinegar/Congo Chris dream team. So The Fat Mickey will have to do for the time being. We'll have them next. Carry on Charlton.

So the bib and ball collector was on the interviewing panel?

Is Mickey Pearce and his students filming a mockumentary on how not to run a football club?

Must people would say that could never happen, but with our club now, anything could, and usually does!
  • Reckon the Interview as like this...

KM: Karl please explain why you said Charlton were a basket club?
KR: I meant the fans, they're far too OTT with their protests
    KM (Giggles): Wanna start Monday?

Asked questions about your suitability for the role by someone you'll be in charge of in a week. Only at Charlton

I suppose the no-mark has to do something. As far as I could tell he was ignored again today and Nugent only seemed to interact with Simon Clark.

Hopefully Robinson will treat him with similar disdain.

At least his presence increased the football knowledge in the room, albeit marginally, given it was only him, Daisy and Tony K.
